Youth2Policy for our GenB Future is an International Online Workshop organised by Q-PLAN International in the context of GenB Horizon Europe Project.
Workshop Objectives:
- Engage youth in creating actionable recommendations for policymakers on the bioeconomy.
- Leverage insights from previous meetings to shape impactful policy suggestions.
- Foster dialogue between youth and experts in the field.
Who is it for:
- Young students and professionals from diverse fields, such as environmental sciences, economics, communication, and innovation with an interest in sustainability, the bioeconomy, and policymaking.
- Policy and Decision-Makers: Representatives from local, national, and EU institutions involved in bioeconomy-related policies.
- Bioeconomy Stakeholders: Industry representatives, startups, and organisations working in bio-based sectors or researchers and academics focused on sustainable development and innovation.
- Youth Organisations and Networks: Groups advocating for youth participation in decision-making and sustainability efforts.
- Educators and Mentors: Teachers, trainers, and advisors who guide young individuals toward careers in bioeconomy.
- Civil Society Organisations: NGOs and advocacy groups promoting environmental justice, inclusion, and sustainable growth.
